I am just starting with reloading. Single stage Lyman Spartan press and and forster case trimmer that belonged to my dad. I used all the components my dad had used in 1974 to reload for the same rifle he was using at the time. I even got the notes he was using with dates, serial numbers of the rifles the load was for, and of course all the load development notes. Almost 30 years later the Model 70 .270 will still shoot a tight group.

I started with an RCBS JR in 1975 and it was no more complicated or expensive than what you have. I won a lot of IHMSA trophies on that gear and think I could still do it with the same rig.
