I received my 6x45 barrel this past Wednesday and have laid out all my bits to assemble the upper. I should get it completed tomorrow and plan to take it to the ranch this next weekend to do some load testing. The barrel looks good and look forward to getting it all together. Assembled and ready to go. I have a Palmetto State lower with Geissele SSA-E trigger and a nice Magpul ACS-L shulder stock so I will be waiting for next weekend to get it to the ranch to see what this rifle will do... I am hoping that it will good out to 200 yards for taking down some of the zillion feral hogs that we have roaming around tearing up the place. will give a range report with loads, velocity and accuracy data

That is one very good looking rifle. The TJ HG is an interesting touch. I had never seen one of those mounted up. I am just trying to stay Young at heart myself. If you need any thing on the 6X45 I have only a few loads I have shot. Also there is a huge data thread on Predator Masters in the AR Forum on loading data with a very nice batch of PDF files. Additionally there are about half a dozen guys over on AR15ARMORY that bought 6X45's because some curly headed guy convinced them they were the cat's pajamas and they are doing well with them also. Thanks! I put one of the TJ handguards on a 300BLK I have and really like it. It has the quadrails up front for hunting lights, laser etc however it's rounded body feels a lot better than a full quad rail on your hand.
And thanks for the info on loads. I will take a look, I am sure it will be very helpful.

Maybe some time I'll have a real unusual one to show around. Greg
