What kind of barrel life can one expect from a BHW .264 LBC barrel, say 16"-18" shooting 120-123gr pills?
Has anyone shot one enough to see accuracy decrease appreciably and if so, approximate round count?
Thanks, -Mike

Some where between 750 and 1000 and still shooting. I am expecting to get some where around 5000 before I start looking for another barrel. I have been using 123 gr. Amax and 8208 for powder. I am going to try some 130 gr. Berger VLD's Mine shoots well enough I ordered a 24" bull profile to use for some informal 1000 yd. matches. I am waiting for my gas block to arrive from BTE. Then I will get some pictures and some targets posted

I have several that are going on 1000 but then I only shoot them on Sundays. A regular 223 should run at least 6-7500 in the regular stuff but with the poly rifling I would guess it will be a good deal more. I do know that they have done horrendous testing with FA's on them and the things shoot even red hot. Greg

As I learn more about the poly rifling and these barrels, I appreciate the data points!. Thanks, -Mike
