Five months since ordering came and went on March 10th. Still "patiently" waiting... Dang that is total bs but what can you do i sure hope my 2 don't take that long. I don't know why they would insist when you order that it would take 8-10 weeks when they know it will be longer. good luck i might start getting impatient after 12 weeks lol

I don't like to make too much brass up before i get my barrels so i can check the head space especially with the wildcats.
so i have only made 20 or so cases so i could play with bullets -- dang they are tiny for my fat fingers lol
and welcome to the waiting club dbshelton

I just passed the 4 month point of my 8-10 week wait. I emailed them about a month ago, and, rather disappointingly, received a canned response, with no indication whatsoever of when it may ship. It would have been nice if they could have given some info on the hold up. For all I know, they're waiting for steel, and it may be years before they get it. Oh well. Such is life...

Time to let your fingers do the walking and give them a call direct. With the post-election craziness anyone that ordered anything anywhere has gotten a delay on delivery. Stuff that normally would take 2-3 weeks when I ordered is now taking 6-7. I have been dealing with three component/parts suppliers since December and all I ever get is the canned no-specific answers via e-mail. BHW will answer the phone unless they are very busy. I may have to try two or three times to reach them but when I do they are always able to help me with any issues I have. Greg BTW welcome to the board.

We are doing everything possible to get these orders out as fast as we can while holding to the same quality that we have always held to. I do know that there were 3 20 pracs at headspace on Friday so they should be getting finished out this week and shipped out. If you give the office a call the girls can give you a better idea of where you are at in the process. Due to the heavy demand in the industry we are working as diligently as possible to get all of the orders out, even the custom hand chambered ones.

I know the demand is high and i knew it when i ordered them i am not worried i figured it would be 12-15 weeks when she said 8-10 quality trumps speed in my book too. we always want stuff fast but reality and expectations right now are not even close so we must patiently wait. when they get here they get here. hopefully the market will stabilize soon so everyone can catch up. but i won't hold my breath. thanks Andy.

I'll gladly wait rather than have them sacrifice quality. I just don't understand why so many companies seem to consider email a 2nd-class communication system. Email gets you a canned response, but a phone call will get you an accurate answer? Isn't email more convenient for all involved, especially when running a busy business? Things that make you go hmmmm....

Things that make you go hmmmm.... E-mail just doesn't cut it for specifics in many cases. The guys that build 'em aren't the guys at the computer throughout the day. It would be great if all the questions could be e-mailed but the nuances are there for the personal stuff. I will do the e-mail thing a couple of times if it is benign but then I start dialing. The current state of the industry has everyone and their dog doing semi-canned responses and CS is suffering because of it, IMHO. Greg
