I saw a thread about 458 so com and 450 might be produced by bhw back in 2012. Is there anyone that has one of these or are they still in the works of producing them? Also is the bolt for the 458 its own thing or does it match up to something different?

Ritch has the skinny on those. I'm sure he will chime in.

The date has yet to be released. I talked with Carl the owner of Black Hole about the 450 last week. The bolt for both the 450 and the 458 is a .473 They were available when I looked last week. Also Bush Master did sell them. A call would get you the answer to that one.

Thanks Greg I live in Indiana and those are both legal for deer hunting here. The 6.8 is a different bolt isn't it. Thanks Brian

The 6.8 is smaller. It is a tad less than the Grendel but bigger than the 223. The 6.8 case has a .421 head.
