Hello everyone. Was hoping some of you have load data for the 75gr Hornady BTHP. I am using LC brass and have RL15, Varget, TAC, 8208, 4064, 3031 and CFE 223. So, if any of you have any data you would be willing to share I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Western Powder and Hodgdon have all the data on that one you could possibly need on your powders. If you are smart you will invest in a Hornady book. I find it easier to peruse laoding data when I go to bed in teh evening and want some thing to read vs. my phone who's battery is dead.

I do have the Hornady book, along with a few others. However, was hoping someone here had experience with the Hornady bullets using a 18" BHW barrel. But, if Vihtavouri N-140 loaded to roughly 2500-2600fps would be very favorable, then I will give it a try. Was hoping to save some time and $ so I could order a BHW 308 barrel for my next build. I guess its as they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I'm sure some will come through but most guys are loading up to the 69's unless they are after the 500+ stuff. I have shot a few 77 Noslers just to get a feel for them when I get around to the FT-R matches. I've never shot Vit and with the shortage I predict it will be a long time.

I am curious of this as well being there is a picture of a group smaller than a dime on Ritch's Precision Guns LLC webpage. ritchsprecisionguns.com/No info on what barrel or clear caliber either. But he does have the bullet, powder, and muzzle velocity. Which I might add is screaming. Only thing I can find from Hodgdon is he is 7.5 grs over their max load. So is it even a .223?

The group your asking about was shot with a 22" 6X6.8 with a 1 in 9 twist. I still have that barrel and it is still shooting groups like the one in question.

Thanks Using 18" BHW barrel, Norma brass, CCI450, 24.2gr H4895, AVG 2758, SD 18, 2.312" COL (ASC magazine). Using 20" FN barrel, Norma brass, CCI450, 24.2gr H4895, AVG 2838, SD 14, 2.312" COL (ASC magazine). H4895 is easy to find in my area, but that doesn't mean "everywhere". I'm sure someone will point out it's more temp sensitive than the newer powders, but I've survived almost 50 years of handloading without the "new stuff" (which doesn't mean I don't like the new stuff, just that it's possible to do great without it! .
