Thanks MadCat. I'll have my barrel on Tuesday. Now I'm jealous! I ordered similar specs to yours about 2 weeks ahead of you but did order fluting so hoping I'm within a few days of a ship notification. Keep us posted on how it runs!

I love that Greg! That was going to be my beginning workup and I already had the components on hand, guessing you were using your usual 7-1/2 primers? Do you mind me asking how far off the lands you were seated and your approximate velocities?

What length barrel gets the 2700fps? Is that a bolt gun? Thats insane accuracy. Curious what the charge is?

Thats my exact load on my 16". So it looks like the 20" is about 200fps faster than the 16". Sure is an accurate son of a gun

I picked a number to start at not the one to end up at. You are probaly down around 2525. What velocity are you recording and at what charge? Greg

I get an average of 2475@29.2. I get a good bump @29.4 to 2525. But I like the 29.2 accuracy better. I havent shot anything higher than that . But there is a little bit of wiggle room left. 29.2 is a nice accurate safe load.
