Working on my Aero build in the 308 cal. I just ordered a 20" Blackhole barrel, rifle length gas system and yes I cant wait. So which gas blocks should I be looking at, adjustable or non-adjustable? The rifle will mainly be for hunting. Here is my build so far.

View AttachmentView Attachment Gas blocks are a no brainer. BTE without question and go with the adjustable. Its worth the extra money to have the piece of mind to have total control of your gas system.

I've been reading and looking for the answer and from everything I've seen adjustable is the way to go. I do understand everyone has a favorite brand but what are the best for the money without breaking the bank? Quality goes a long way and this maybe one of the things you don't scrimp on. Thoughts Thanks on the heads up on B.T.E.

Thoughts Really Ritch put it out there for you. You can spend more on JP, SYRAC and a few others but the BTE will get you the best performance for your dollar. George is one of the best parts makers in the US. I visit him frequently here in Phoenix. Between his gas blocks, FF tubes and triggers he gets a huge amount of business from Ritch and me. Tell him we sent you. Greg

I'm a little slow, I found the BTE and been checking them out. I like the looks of the hand guard as well, I wonder how long "coming soon" will be?

I have BTE's hand guard and used a couple other for customers. Simple, high quality and affordable. What's not to like? This is a 15" in FDE. Attachments:

Nice rifle that's the length I'm leaning towards with a low profile gas block. I sent a email and waiting to hear back, not in a hurry I'm doing my build on a pay as I go. Just paid for my barrel so back to saving. I have learned to ask and listen to people in the know sounds like BTE is the way to go. Thanks for sharing the picture it helps. I can see a all black rifle with a 20" machine finish on the barrel in my head. Sweet....
