Believe me, you don't want to see pictures of the results.. loaded some 125 gr jhps ahead of 12.5 gr Blue dot, groups under an inch at 50 yds.. went out into my 25 acre pasture on the four wheeler, eliminated 15 or 20 of the furry little buggers before lunch.. looks like it could be a fun spring here in Wyoming if spring ever decides to get here.... I love my 1894 in 357 mag, it is my go-to horse back deer gun. I have never killed a squirrel with it, ground or tree, but it has taken multiple whitetail.
I have one in 44 mag also, but prefer the 357 mag for deer off of a horse. I put a rear peep site on it, which makes it very handy to shoot one handed for the awkward shooting that is required when shooting deer from a horse, come to think of it, I have never shot a deer from horseback with two hands on the gun. I always feel better with one hand on the brakes when shooting from a horse, and the deer is never in front of you where you could hold the reins and the gun.

We should change your name to John Wayne.
