Decided I want a 264LBC. My plan is to get what I can from the vendors here. BHW 24" national match contour, talked to Ritch already and he will get me a matching bolt. BTE 15" ff tube and low profile gas block. A few questions. Does BHW use a M4 barrel extention? How much weight would I shave off if I straight flute behind gas block vs going with just an unflutted standard contour?
Happy thanksgiving everyone

You might save four ounces fluting. BTW fluting is on hold right now because of recent barrel demand increase. Greg

Thanks Greg I won't do the flutes then. With 264 bore should a 24" NM contour barrel weigh about the same as a 20" 5.56 NM barrel. Will be using lapua brass for sure. I already have a bunch of 123 NCC and A-Max I use in my 6.5 CM to try. Are ASC mags a good way to go?

I'll check my charts but i figure about 0.8/lb difference on the big one. Greg
