Anyone ever use the BHW barrels on a custom action like the shilen dgr or bighorn tl2? They both use the same thread pattern and floating bolt head like the savage, but or beefier, tighter tolerances where you need them, and utilize a Remington 700 footprint.

I just shot a BAT actioned BHW barrel last week that I will report on later today. It took me a couple days to crunch the numbers thanks to life getting in the way..LOL I will say it shot adequately. Those bat action are really nice. Right now I am looking into the new bighorn tl3. It has the floating bolthead like the savage, but also a mechanical ejector and the AI-AW mag cuts. The bighorn are also designed using a Remington 700 footprint so they will use the Remington aftermarket stocks and triggers. It seems to be the best of all worlds. I am wanting to build a prs tactical rifle in hopes to start competitions
