I have loaded 50 RDS of 6.5 LBC/Grendel. I have measured from the ogive of the bullet and all are the same there. This measurement gets me within mag length just barely. Now the coal of these rounds vary by as much as .025. Will they be consistent? I know the bullets vary as to why I am getting this and I did not sort them due to only having 50 of them left.

Bullet lengths vary in a box sometimes as much as 0.010. If they are hollow points or soft points they will be all over the map. The ogive measurement determines consistent jump to lands. Ignore the COL variation ss long as the ogive is stable. You coukd take a pair of wire cutters and cut the tips off and shoot a group. You will be ASTOUNDED at the results. Greg
