Thinking about ordering a 17-223 barrel and was wondering how to form the brass. Can I use a 223 Redding type s bushing full length sizing die? If I can what bushings do I use? Also what die does a person use to seat the bullets with?

Also what die does a person use to seat the bullets with? No can do the Redding 223. It's too far across for good neck forming. I use a gutted 223 die and the a Hornady 17-223 die. I use a Hornady 17 seater. One could pick up a Redding 17-223 bushing die but I have no idea on the cost. I'd still do the gutted 223 deal though. I do that in forming any sub-223 cartridge. You will have to trim to lenght after forming as the necks can get ragged looking and long. Greg
