Pictures of the new hand guard I had a different one on it but it was a 15" and was hitting my gas block causing accuracy issues. So I ordered a 12.5" Nordic hand guard from Joe Bobs it seems to be a good quality hand guard. Ok now I can't figure out were to add in my pictures how do I do that?

22" 6x6.8 BHW barrel, velocity 3lb trigger, vortex viper hst 4-16x44, Nordic 12.5" hand guard trued upper bedded the barrel with blue lock tite. Need to go shoot this. The barrel has been shot before and was very accurate just figured I could do a couple extras while it was apart for a new handguard.

Curious about your opinion on the Velocity trigger... Have you had any range time with it or is it new to this build?

I have about 300 rounds on it I like it haven't had any issues. I have a Timney in my savage axis and I would say they are very comparable.

Ok here's some pictures of targets shot at 100yards. My ejection is going forward which from searching I seen its over gassed does that mean I need to close the gas block some? Also would this change how my groups are? Seemed to be lots of stringing one load was horizontal and a couple vertically what would your recommendations be? Hopefully Ritch or GlShooter chime in on this.Hear are some pictures.

Most times vertical needs more spped. Horizontal needs depth adjustment or better bench technique. Some feel over-gassed will effect the accuracy thanks to more violent harmonics. Over-gassing will make a difference in brass abuse beyond a doubt and is not good. My 1000 word essay on gas adjustment: Greg

Over gassed turn the screw in then? Yes. I go 0.5 turns at a time. Better just a skosh over-gassed than under if you can't get it perfect. Greg

My horizontal stringing stopped after learning to use a rear squeeze bag to support the stock. Prior, could see my pulse rate move the reticle left/right with a tight check weld. ymmv..
