Good evening all. The long wait for my upper & lower my cousin is machining me is almost over & I should be putting my rifle together in the next few weeks. I am looking for any advice on 6x6.8 loads with 70-75 grain pills. This will be primarily a coyote rig. Ive got a lot of Benchmark, H322 & H335 on hand. Are there other powders out there that might work better with this combo? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. As always thanks for the help & info.

Imr 8208 is kind of the go to powder for this caliper. I'm working loads up for mine too. But I'm using 87g hornady bthp and Speer 85g btsp. I looking for heavier higher bc bullets.

AS above 8208. H4985 and RL15 work well also.

You're in Phoenix? Hiding from me as a shooting buddy? I am shocked I say, shocked!!
Greg
Sportsman's is usually cheaper on powder but Lester has the best price on bullets and primers in town.

Yes sir here in the great oven. I agree Lester is pricey on powder but usually always has what I need in stock. Jason cuts me a deal from time to time. Sportsman's I like & would like more if my younger brother lived here since he works at the one in Albuquerque & gets quite the discount which i utilize whenever I visit 😉
I'm usually out at Ben Avery's most Sundays at around 6ish.

Usually Bruno has what I need but lately not so much for some reason on the powder. Jason is always nice to deal with. By and large I enjoy going there for the more esoteric things. The bullet selection is so good as to be almost mind blowing IMHO. I live about 3 miles from Sportsmans and five from Lester so I hit them frequently. I haven't shot at BA in many years other than in USPSA and Police Game matches. The public area is a real turn off to me but then I'm not out to just shoot targets. Way to much chronograph gear to set up etc.. Maybe because I've run so many ranges over the years and matches all over the country I just don't like the fifteen minute regimentation and dealing with crowds. Too spoiled I guess with always having access to my own ranges for years..LOL Greg

I totally agree Greg with BA. It's usually amateur hour there. Thats why I get there an hour before opening it seems only the dedicated get there that early. I'm usually done by 9 or 10 when the goons show up.
I will say this about Bruno's I do enjoy watching Lester & Jason bicker back & forth. You can't buy that kind of entertainment HAHAHA
