I need to get around and get an order to Ritch for my barrel; however, being my first AR308 build I don't have the receive blocks for barrel mounting and maintenance. I use a BEV block for all my AR15 stuff as I feel it's best to limit the amount of stress are the actual receiver when tightening and torquing. I don't have a barrel clamp, so, I'm looking at one of these as the design appears to work for both AR platforms and might come in handy combined with a upper clam shell vice block. The Brownell's video looks a little precarious in the manner it's being used.
