I'm hoping some of you experts can answer a few questions for me...
I'm looking at CH4D's selection of "25x68" dies, which I assume to match the BHW 25x6.8 chamber. If this is not the case, please let me know.
I see they have both a Full Length Size die as well as at least one Forming die for this cartridge.
I prefer to do full length sizing, as opposed to neck sizing.
My questions are:
Is a Forming die really necessary to convert 6.8 SPC brass to 25x6.8 brass, or is running it directly through the Full Length Sizing die sufficient?
If 1-step full length sizing is sufficient, what, if any, advantage is there to utilizing their Forming die(s)?
Also, have any of you experienced neck donuts during case forming of this cartridge and made use of their reamer die?
Thanks for your thoughts,
don..

One pass through the die and you are GTG. Just get the regular sizing die. We are doing the 6X6.8 in one step and they are perfect. You don't get donuts during forming. Greg
