Much has been written/said about finding the seating depth that your barrel happens to like. The picture show rather clearly that you can't just "use published data" and expect much more than factory accuracy. Both targets are 10 shots, the same brass, powder, bullet, rifle. The top target was shot using the manufacturer's suggested COL (no, it was not "magazine length/2.60"). The bottom target was with the bullet seated to where (at the moment) my rifle system seems to like it. Same day, same shooter, same weather, different seating depth. For those that "require" certain info, the range was 100 yards, .224" 40gr FBHP bullets all from the same box (not "bulk"), BHW 18" "slim" contour, 1:8, brass once fired from same lot, primers from the same 100 package, powder from the same 8# jug.
