I have 2 Grendels (18"&24") but wanted something flatter shooting. I also have a 6x45 which is great but gets winded out past 700. On top of that my Ruger Precision Rifle in 243 Win was shot out. After much research I came to .243LBC. I wanted a medium weight build as my 24" Grendel is a COMPLETE sled. I went with a standard weight barrel in 22" and I couldn't be happier. My load development lead me to CFE223 31.9g pushing 105g Berger Hybrids as I have a bunch from my RPR. Velocity is 2846fps. At 50y one hole and sub-dime at 100y. I don't miss my 243 Win at all!

Congratulations. Sounds like you really have it dialed in.

Thanks. Took it out today after only 23 rounds through it. Went straight to 600y. Misses my cold bore but hit with the 2nd. Winds were terrible gusting well over 20mph. Still shot at some unknown distance targets biggest being 12" without much issue. Only my 6.5 Creedmoor will out shoot this thing. Now I just have to figure out how to post pics..

That's a fine boom stick. Every time I think I can live without a 243 LBC I see something like this...

Yeah wish I'd discovered it sooner. Now I need to decide what to do with my 2 Grenades. I think I'll keep the 18" one as it's a great hunting rifle but the 24" bull barrel is obsolete.
