One of the most typical for us down in south texas. Black Hole 20" 264lbc match bull (of course) Surplus Ammo and Arms lower and Aero Precison. Mil spec parts kit. JP Enterprises Speed trigger kit set to 2lbs. Hogue over molded free float forearm with grip. Magpul PRS stock tipped off with a Burris XTR 6-24x50 in PEPR. Attachments:

First 5 rounds after getting it on paper (approximately 5 rounds to get scope "zeroed"; so 10 rounds at this point). Not stellar by some but good by me. No sled. Off the sandbags at a redneck's shotgun range turned into rifle range. Attachments:

That being said the Troy battle rail has been known as one of the lightest besides the JP Enrerprises free float modular. The rifle itself was quite heavy. But once the scope went on there it was pretty balanced. I think somewhere between 12-14lbs. Didn't weight it so not sure exactly. Someone liked it so much that I ended up selling it to him.

Oddly enough I have three 24" varmint rigs set up with the ACE Skeleton stocks. With a Nikon Buckmaster scope and bipod each weigh in at 11 pounds 4 ounces with HEAVY barrels.
My 20 LBC with a 24 X scope and a standard 20" BHW barrel weighs in at 9.0 pounds without a bipod using the ACE stocked lower. That tels me the extra 4" of barrel at a heavier profile adds right on about 1 1'4 pounds. I don't find the 11 1/4 pounds to be overly bad for humping the hills for PD's.
All my guns have rifle length FF tunes.

You can't beat those Ace Skeleton stocks. And they are light weight.

I second that. The pair I have are great to use. They actually don't make me feel like a dime store Commando when I use them. Greg

Finally got to the range to shoot my new .264LBC build with a BHW, 24" heavy match barrel mated to my BHW left handed, railed upper. After the break in shooting, I returned and shot for some groups. My last 8 shots were in a slightly oval shaped group that measured less than a 1/2" at 100 yards. The group opened up to 3/4" at 200 yards. I'm super pleased with the quality and service.
Even during the break in I was seeing some fantastic groups and I was using cheap, Wolf Gold 6.5G ammo. When I transitioned to my reloads, (8208 XBR powder, CCI BR primers, 123 AMax Hornady's) I shot the above group.
I love this thing! Glad I do since I have another LH upper and a BHW .264LBC LTR profile barrel on order for hunting.
I did notice that the bolt won't pick up a loaded round from the magazine when I use the new bolt release but will pick up a round if I pull back on the charging handle and let 'er rip. Not an issue to worry about, but something weird. (I'm using new, 6.5 Stoner mags. Tried a perfectly fine 6.5G1 AA magazine too; same issue.)

Andy suggested its an extractor issue. I exchanged the extractors and they worked fine. Weird huh?
