My local HD doesn't sell it.
That's the one by the way. It's a cotton/poly/blend of some sort and multiple stitches. Has taken a hogue with red loctite off....

Heading that way, today. Thanks for the all the adhoc research, guys. One cannot have enough of the right tools! ;D
Update: My local HD's don't carry them - not the plumbing dept. or anywhere else.
Looks like mail-order, unless I can find another Rigid dealer.
So it goes.

What's the definition of "cheap"? I have an MI Gen 2 drop-in on my 5.56/.223, ran me $165 at Midway, LOVE the thing.

Who makes a good small diameter hand guard that is not $250. I just saw one at the local gun shop made by Troy Industries. for $179.99, called the Alpha Battle Rail Modular Free Float hand guard. Available on MidwayUSA, etc. Has a recess for the gas tube, so it's quite narrow. Includes a battle rail on the upper surface. Looks quite nice. (Unless you meant MORE than $250) ;D David
