I have been asked several times "what do I need to reload the 6x68". Thought I would make it easy to find.
These are Sinclair part numbers, but feel free to get them wherever you like.
Redding type S 6.8SPC Full Length Bushing Die 749-006-488WS
Decapping assembly 749-011-190WS
.285 bushing 749-002-018WS
.267 bushing 749-002-051WS
Hornady seater die 749-003-220WS
RCBS #19 Shellholder 749-013-620WS
If you use a hand prime tool, you will need that shell holder also, I have a Lee, and the holder kit came with a #19 and it works perfect.

Of course the bushings are needed too. A no brainer once I started thing about it!! (Cheap too!!) We were over thinking it. Greg

Some guys like to use the button when the brass is a bit inconsistent on thickness. That will work. HINT HINT!! Call Redding and tell them you need a 6 MM expander button and the decapping rod retainer button for your 6.8 Type S Dies. They will 99/100 send them to you FREE!! Greg

It would be awesome if someone could make up a dummy round so I could take one down to my local outfitter and get them to set me up some dies

It would be awesome if someone could make up a dummy round so I could take one down to my local outfitter and get them to set me up some dies The only issue would be that the set up would not be specific to the peculiarities of your rifle Close but not perfect, usually. Also different bullets will be different lengths and seating depths. The Lyman Reloading Manual, #29 IIRC, has a great pictorial on how to do this. Necking down the cases to 6X6.98 is easy and we can walk you through that. The process really is simple to learn. Greg

How about a youtube video Me on a camera would be a hoot. I've taught countless classes on everything from emergency medical treatment to HIV to external ballistics over the years but have never been filmed. My lectures are a bit less than stoic . I believe "animated" is the descriptive term. Reloading is probably not the best thing to be real animated with. My recommendation is to find a local reloader and get some instruction. If anyone was within 100 miles of Phoenix I'd make a house call. If there is a local IPSC group that shoots 3 Gun you might wander down there and have a chat.90% of those guys, like me, reload their rifle stuff and understand the AR15 limitations and needs. Greg

I have been reloading for the past year. Its just the bushing dies I am not familiar with right now. The bushings are easy. Grab a magic marker and color the necks. Keep adjusting down until you reach the neck/shoulder juncture and stop. Check the case in your chamber with the BCG dropping by hand. Don't move the shoulder back at the forming stage. Ritch and I are using Wilson bushings on ours with good success. Greg
