There is no reason to use a bushing die with an expander. Being able to regulate neck tension with different size bushings is the whole premise behind the bushing style die. All you will accomplish using the expander is over working your brass.
If you want to set neck tension in the manor you described you would be better served using a full length die from CH4D.

So I just ordered all my stuff for reloading. My last 6.68 was one of the first one out and I forgot half of it. So I ordered a 6mm decapping assembly should I have got the 223? Also I ordered a Redding 6ppc seating die. I think on my last one I was using a 260 Remington or 270wsm die to seat with (sounds crazy maybe but it worked)

You may well get away with that seater. Greg

I just started loading for 6x6.8 and bought the Wilson bushing die and a .285 and .267 bushing. When I looked at what I had for seating, the 6.5 Grendel die was short enough and was only .5mm bigger so I tried it. The bullet seemed to seat fine.
Just a question about case necks. My formed case with bullet seated is .270. Is the chamber neck on the 6x6.8 about .275 to allow for expansion?
On my BHW 6x45 the case neck with bullet seated is .265 and SAAMI says chamber is .270 so clearance is .005".

From the same question on AR15ARMORY.com
Necks spring back. 275 is about right on the 6X6.8. Taking into account brass thickening is part of the equation. The 6X45 necks get thinner so you can cheat on those.
You can use the Grendel seater but you may well induce run out with it.

I Administrate both BHW sites.

Most questions are asked in the regular appropriate forum areas like the Reloading and AR TYPE ares. I am the Moderator on those there also. I'll head over there and see what you wrote. Greg I looked. What didn't get answered?

Get on with another computer/phone and email or PM NWATSON about the problem with your IP address. This has been popping up for a few months.

I tried from my phone using Chrome and ar15armory.com is timing out.
If you have no problems it could be because you are in the same domain.
nwatson does not have an account here. I tried to PM.

I wish I could read the answers to my questions on ar15armory.com.
I forget exactly what they were but they were about BHW 6x45, 6x6.8 and American 30 barrels.
I can access every other site I have tried and ar15armory is the only one I cannot see.
I tried internet explorer and got a timeout as well.

Sometimes you can sneak back on by going through a different ISP but hopefully he'll handle this for you. Greg

I hate to be a necromancer, raising threads from the dead, but when TSA put the unfinished, but chambered 6x6.8 barrels on sale for $45, I had to get one. I’ve been wildcatting for over 50 years but still checked out this thread. I noticed some were crushing cases and several solutions were offered, but one ‘trick’ I did not see mentioned was doing a good chamfer on the outside of the case mouth. I am forming with the Redding S sizer for other 6.8 cats, so I already had a .274 bushing. Without a chamfer on the case mouth, you can feel it want to hang, but with a chamfer, going from a Hornady 6.8 case to a nearly finished 6mm case was effortless. The final .267 bushing arrives soon to finish them off, but going from 6.8 to a .274 in one pass was nothing, no cases lost in 50.
