Nice looking rifle. Let us know what loads work best. I am still waiting on a couple of barrels. It will be 12 weeks in a couple of days. Man it is tough to be patient.

okay so it is the busiest time of the year for me at work right now but i was able to sneak away to the range for a few minutes before getting called back in. After lackluster results from h335 and hdy 87 hpbts and sierra 75gr hp's i went back out today with a few loads of each of the same bullet but this time i used varget as it is another one i have alot of on hand. 24 24.5 25 and 25.5 gr loads of varget underneath the 87 grainers were still not real impressive with the exception of the 25 gr loading which had 4 shots at .9". Everything else was around 2". This inspired some hope except for the fact that i was around 2550fps out of my 20" tube with the 25gr load. I am hoping that even at mag length i can expect more velocity out of the 6x45. the 75grainers both shot awesome with 25.5 and 26gr charges. They were both 3shot groups under 1/2" but still not impressed with the velocity (26gr was 2700). As hodgdon has no varget data for 6x45 on their site i'm going to start working up from here as there was absolutely no pressure signs with either bullet. GLSHOOTER if you have any data from past experience with varget loaded to mag length i would be very interested to learn more. Still haven't got around to picking up any rl15 or 4895 so that could be next but i would love to be able to stick with varget.

You can't get enough if it in the case to achieve the velocity you are after. Like Greg said H4895, 8208 are both good preformers in a 6X45. The new CFE223 should work as well. From the tests we have done it is NOT temperature sensitive Also, move up the charge table. Black Hole barrels typically like the upper end of the charge table. Here is a load of data. I have tried more than a few from this link and found it to be reliable. buckammo.com/Images/6x45_loaddata_5_1.pdf
