While I was visiting a neighbor a very large pack of coyotes sounded off at the back of his calf barn. I was thinking, wow, what an opportunity. So I asked if I could help limit the coyotes on his land and he said YES ;D
It was to late in the evening but I grabbed my son and his friend. Sat at the edge of a corn field looking down over a large section of flat ground. We set up the call and made one single locator call. Within a minute we were surrounded on all sides by dogs yipping. We couldn't make them out well enough to shoot them so we listened. It was impressive and kind of spooky all at the same time. A great evening spent hunting

I know about the "spooky" part. Years ago we had a pack of 6 domestic/feral dogs running around on the bombing range that I worked at. I decided one evening to see if I could call them in. I sat there with the e-caller going, holding my AR with my Dan Wesson .44 laying next to me. As it started getting a little dark, I started hoping they wouldn't come in.

A GEN III scope would handle that little problem if it is legal up there. They just let us start using suppressors here in AZ!! Greg PS: And our semis will be able to hold more than a 5 round mag this year too!!
