Been thinking for a while about a name for my new 264 lbc / 6.5 grendel, and have been through many that just did not fit, until I looked up famous rats....why rats? because my lower is made by RAT Worx (research and testing) from my childhood town I grew up in. so what is the name I chose, it is Splinter, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So what have you named your rifles? Attachments:

No, never felt the urge. Have owned 60+? over the past 55 years, and I don't recall ever giving one a name. I do have a friend that named some of his. One was a Browning A-bolt 7 mm Rem Mag that he called JASON, and another A-bolt 12 gauge that he called LOG SPLITTER.

come on 1shot, you can not just have one rifle, or name all your rifles the same thing. Can not believe that I am the only one who names their rifles.

There's a customer of mine that has named his black Betty the black widow. She's hateful to song dogs. And rightfully so.

I don't name any rifles, or other firearms for that matter. Even my service rifle never had a name for it back in the day. I know other guys did. ....but occasionally I swear in silence to the targets. It seems to work sometimes! LOL!!

I kind of think naming my rifle is silly but I have justified it to myself since it's likely to be my one & only "real" rifle.
It will be Dory when I finish it, named for the Greek hoplite spear.

Due to the fact that my "plastic" parts and optics (FAB Defense and Meprolite) are Israeli-made, I decided to name my AR "Ziva", after the ex-Moussad agent in the TV show NCIS. They're both sleek, sexy, and dangerously-accurate!
