I was fortunate enough to get to shoot a big central Montana whitetail doe with my 20" 6x45 this past week. Using the 75 gr Sierra hp at 2900 fps I had a complete pass through at 165 yards. The shot placement was just behind the shoulder and broke ribs on the way out. Some smaller jacket and lead fragments were left in shoulder muscle on the exit side. Very impressed with the performance for a varmint bullet. Photos to come. Btw the internal damage was enough that she only ran ten yards after being hit.

Congratulations. An excellent story and an excellent bullet performance.

I am using h4895 with cci magnum primers. 26.7 gr is near max in my Barrel but is the most accurate load I have found to date.
