I have done a rebuild on my 20 Practical. I started with the hand guard, a chrome BCG and a 24 inch 20 Prac barrel. When I got to the gas system I ran across the adjustable low profile from BTE. This block is machined from stainless steel and Dura coated black. The BTE block works as advertised. It is easy to adjust. Just turn the set screw in or out for more or less gas. This will give you the ability to fine tune your upper to you load. Torn up brass is a thing of the past. You can slow your cyclic rate to drop the brass at your feet or open it up and throw your brass across the range. Here is a link. Check out there Gas Blocks. www.bte-usa.com/Here is the Low Profile installed on my rifle

I'm excited for them to get their site up and running. I've been checking in pretty regularly. I'm in the middle of a build and I think I'll hold off on buying any parts until they are an option.

They are up somewhat. The list their GB's, charging handles and doors. The tubes are not up or their uppers yet but they are coming. Also the GB's are being developed for the big bull barrels like I use. He offers one for the pencil barrel that is neat as a pin too!! Here is the site: bte-usa.com/index.htmGreg

I'll join in here. I just got a new upper from RPG, Ritch, and had him use the BTE Mini Gas Block. It is slick as cat guts!! Machining is excellent and barrel fit was perfect. I'll be shooting it this next week but wanted to share pics of it now. Here is the full deal. I'll do a thread on it later. Greg

Very nice to see the new designs. George (owner of BTE) is a great guy. Here some ideas for the adjustable screw... Spring loaded so will never walk. All I do is half a turn between practice loads and hot hunting mommas. Here another a bit more 'refined' after I found a shorter screw. This is a 7.62x39 upper... same idea...

Those look great. Do any of you know if they plan on making an adjustable gas block for the .936 bull barrels?
I can contact them, but if you happen to know...
Thanks, -Mike

Thanks, -Mike The .936 adjustable gas blocks should be available now. They were scheduled to be finished the week after Christmas. When you call ask for George Urmston he is the owner of BTE. He is also great to deal with and is wealth of knowledge.
