Who has these in-stock. Seems that Tactical Ammunition does not want to send me mine I ordered Dec15th. Everytime I call they tell me it will ship in a day or 2

Tactical Ammunition has been OOS for a long time and Satern is OOS as well. I ordered my type II from CSS (although their customer correspondence leaves something to be desired).

I ordered a bolt last week from Alexander Arms, who indicated it would take (mumble mumble) weeks to ship. This is pretty standard for just about every place I've checked. Until the stampede subsides, and everyone either gets their fill, runs out of money, or decides the world isn't ending, I suspect it will remain this way.
As Greg suggested, just place your order and suck it up. The clock won't start ticking until you order.

Another option would be to order a 7.62X39 bolt and have your barrel chambered to type 1 specs. IMHO this is the correct way to chamber this cartridge anyway.

I guess it's a crapshoot really, I don't like that either. How long did it take for you to get the bolt anyway? Then again, if we're talking manufacturing inconsistencies, I did see a picture on ARFCOM of a Young NM Chromed BCG that was ROYALLY messed up with tooling marks and whatnot and it came straight from the factory so it happens.

Just finished 3 264 lbcs this week. And had to replace an AA bolt with a .141 bolt face depth. Out of stock until I get more in.

I normally have no ill to say about RGuns. They are swamped currently and no communication is usually not good for me when I am tryin to communicate with customers. That said, a 97% satisfaction rate keeps me coming back.

Just wondering if you could elaborate on why the .124 dp boltface is superior. I have heard of some reasons why Bill A. tested and decided to go with the .136 boltface. Thanks!

Thanks![/quote I never said it was superior. I said in my opinion it should be a .125 deep bolt. All this has done is make this cartridge more confusing. Not to mention having an extra .010 of unsupported case hanging out of the chamber. Also you have uncounted sources for .125 bolts. While only a few sources for the .135 option.
