This is a link to a fellow that has done a great compilation on books and shooters. Use at your own risk as normal when you get something from the 'net. I assure you that your mileage WILL vary!! ;D buckammo.com/Images/6x45_loaddata_5_1.pdfGreg

Their page is down all the sudden. Anyone have it saved off? Look at Predator Masters. They have a thread that might help you out. That is where that one came from. Greg

Figured out how to post a link to the 6x45mm Load Data Compilation I have on Google Drive. Here's the link 6x45mm load data 8_1
This was the last version available before the sites went down. Glenn

Well being a plumber and not a computer guy, it took me four tries to get the link to finally work. There seems to be more people trying this caliber. So I just want to help as much as others have helped me.

The funny thing is it hasn't been a WILDCAT since 6-18-11 when it was SAAMI'd. Greg

I'm like a kid in a candy store reloading for the 6x45. There are so many bullet & powder options I have trouble picking a couple of loads and sticking with them.
I've often thought if a couple of major ammo manufacturers started cranking out 6x45 ammo it would take off.

Has anyone successfully used Varget in the 6x45 with the 87 grain Vmax ? The load data above had a suggested load(yellow highlight), of 26.5 grains of Varget @ 2.280 COL. I tried loading a grain and then some less and it was a very compressed load. left an indention ring on the bullet. Wasn't comfortable with that. I thought that Varget would be a good powder for a heavy bullet in the 6x45. Maybe not.
Thanks, Joe

Denting can be elimiated by using a dfferent seater at times. Dents don't really make much difference if they are slight. Only the chronograph and targets will tell. There are plenty if great powders. Hint, hint try AR COMP. Greg

Thanks for the hint ! I will give it a try and save the V for something else. Joe I'll be posting some groups in the next two days I shot with a 6x45 Savage. Some are.....interesting. Greg BTW don't limit yourself to 2.280. Look at 2.310 or so. You will be far happier.
