Here in Indiana we are allowed to deer hunt with the big bushmaster. I cant find a barrel to save my life And i was hoping BHW would make a run. Do you guys see this in your future? I know 3-4 guys wanting them. I do know everywhere I look they are sold out so i know there has to be a high demand for this power house.

Maybe if we could generate enough interest BHW would make a run of them. This cartridge is also a hog killer deluxe. And ammo is still available off the shelf.

I'm in the same boat. I want a 450 in the worst way. I have some of the materials including brass and a couple clips on back order. I bet a complete upper would sell like hot cakes with black holes track record. Come on let's get this project rolling.

I've got a brother in Texas that wants me to hunt hogs with him. It would be a good one for that. .........Hint Hint.. Greg

I've got this itch I haven't been able to identify... Until tonight. A 450 sounds like just the scratch it's been needing.
What say you, Andy?

I would like to have one of these. Been looking all and can't find anything. Well at least as good as a BHW barrel.

From Indiana to Arizona to Alaska. Once the barrels got in production they would be a hot item

I have to agree with you about this caliber. I think once word hits the street, Katie bar the door.

I hate to post "me too" but in this case, it fits. I'd have to sell something to get the money for a barrel, but somehow I'd make it happen. Does BHW do layaway? -Mike

Talk about a hog hammer, the 450 is it, I'm in. I have been pm'ed by six or eight guys on arfcom begging for a BHW 450, selling them will not be the problem, keeping up with the demand will be.
I have almost bought one a couple times, but I just do not want anything but Carl's barrels on my AR's, tack drivers, and the easiest barrels I have ever owned to clean.

Amen wolverine, I am brand loyal and don't want anything but a BHW barrel. The demand for the barrels is here. No questions asked. I can assure 5-6 uppers requests once I get one. All my buddies will be after them.

Carl/Andy, if you do a 450 barrel, you can count me in too!

I have a place in north east corner Indiana near fremont. Thick with deer and turkey. They require now , just changed from 35 cal. 1.6 in max length cartridge to 1.8 in Length case. So 450 bushmaster 1.7 case perfect now for deer with 250gr BC .210 hornady flex point 2200fps would hit harder but similar trajectory to 30-30. But which best pistol or carbine gas using lil gun which seems best powder? I wanted a 16" but also interested in pistol length. Why do they have 12.5" barrel at 1:14 and all others at 1:18? This is last day of 20% discount Shot2015 promo code but no one at store to answer questions. Saturday. I was going to ask about 12.5" pistol gas and 1:14 twist and compare to 16" carbine gas and 1:18 twist or would 10.5 " with pistol gas and 1:18 twist get most of the velocity. Didn't see promo till 10 pm last night.

Didn't see promo till 10 pm last night. In a 16" barrel, the carbine gas system is the way to go. If you go with a shorter barrel I would use the pistol length gas system. As for the powder. I load Lilgun. It's the powder of choice for me. I have tried others like 296 and 4198 but always come back to Lilgun. As I remember, the short barrels use the same twist as the long barrels in the Bushy.
