Master Yoda,
I'm looking for another 6.8 SPC II barrel. The polygonal rifling is the way I'd like to go but I do have some questions about the chamber you cut in these barrels.
What is the freebore and the forcing cone angle?
I'm hoping to see a 450 Bushmaster chambering in your list real soon. Please consider some sort of bolt offering as well. Bushmaster is going to hold them hostage. Can't use the barrel without the bolt. Same for the 458 SOCOM and Rock River Arms.

I'm looking at the .243 LBC for my next build but what are my options for reloading dies? Would this be as simple as redding .264 LBC/6.5 Grendel dies with a 6mm expander and bushing? What about seating? Anyone worked up any starting load data?
Are there any other high performance 6mm offerings for standard AR15 frames like the 6BR or BRX in the works?

Go buy a set of 6 PPC dies and have at it. You can get the bushing type dies for necking down or just get some regular 6 MM PPC dies like Hornady makes and it will do the neck down for you. I would go the bushing route as you have the option of adjusting neck tension for better accuracy and consistent bullet pull. I'm using 22 PPC and 20 PPC dies to make 264 LBC cases in to 20 LBC's and it is VERY easy. Greg

Is there no difference between the 6 PPC case and the LBC/Grendel case, no need for any other dies? Ironic thing is, I'm necking up .243 brass to .264 to shoot in my BHW .260 Rem barrel, and planning to neck down .264 LBC brass to shoot in the .243 LBC.

No changes other than the shoulder height. I have not studied the prints but if there is a different shoulder angle I'm not seeing it making any difference. Even though the dies don't go all the way to the shell plate I have seen no problems in chambering the multi-loaded rounds. Greg

I know that the 6.5lbc is only slightly different than the 6.5 grendel, but I have heard that the 6.5lbc is finnicky. Now that the Grendel is a SAMMI round, can you chamber a barrel for it?

There are no working, practical differences in the two. Go buy all the Grendel factory stuff you want, stick it in a BHW barrel and set back and watch the bullets nestle together. The LBC vs the Grendel thing came about from the copyright issues that AA had until they went SAAMI. You are correct but the non-minutia shooter will never see the difference. Many of us use Grendel brass, AA makes the best via Lapua IMHO, and it works very well for us. Greg

Any chance you guys will be offering a 6.5 Creedmoor chamber in the DPMS LR308 pattern barrels anytime soon? I realize you already offer .260 barrels, but there is almost no factory match ammo for .260... and I'd like to give the Creedmoor a shot (no pun intended ).

Personally I know I see a ton of 260 brass compared to Creedmore out there. At the rate my F-Class guns eat up ammo I couldn't afford to shoot a big match with factory stuff. Reloading is the only way I can fly. Greg

I've been thinking about building a 204 Ruger, but the 17x223 may be the ticket. Sounds like fun to shoot.
