We have shot all sorts of the BHW cartridges in XP 100 pistols for years in IHMSA and done well to 200 meters. The 6X45 out of a 14"tube works unless well. Of course there are lot's of SBR's being built now and while there is a cool factor they give up a lot. My 10"M16 is down around 2500 FPS with a 55. My wife shoots a 17 1/2" a Shilen barreled 6X45 and it is a terror in 3Gun. I borrow it when I have a urban type match but it will hit A Zones on Milparks at 350 all day long. Greg

just thinking about another short plinker as I'm wrapping up a build now. Guys want short barreled 243 LBC's at times at 16" and all they really get ballistically is a 20" 6X45. Not that that is shabby but it so understates the cartridge capabilities. Greg
