Well I have had my 6x6.8 for a few months now and been meaning to get signed up and post some results so here ya go.
All targets are from 100yrs and off sandbags or bipod w/rear bag.
Below are the re-test the top 2 charge weights. left side is 70smk and right side is 70sbk. top is 29.2gr and bottom is 29.5gr Ar-comp. these are the re-test from the previous target when it was leaning. just a smidgen better lol.
Pdog I smacked from just shy of 300yrds with a 70sbk.
Made it out on thanksgiving day for some calling and had a great day! Here is the first coyote shot with the 6x6.8 also with a 70sbk at 125yrds. (entrance side)
Ended up having a pass through but was surprised and how little fur damage was done. I will be testing these out some more to see if this was a fluke or the norm. Here is what the exit hole looked like. a quarter covers it and the entrance hole was just a tiny bit smaller.
I have been wanting to test this upper out in some windy conditions and yesterday gave me a perfect opportunity. Wind was from my 4-5 o'clock at 16-18mph. 58gr zmax
here is a group of 70gr nosler btips, same wind as above.

Looks like you have that barrel shooting well. Congratulations on your first coyote with it. Have you got your dads gun built and a load worked up for it yet?

Thanks fellas. Ritch, I have done very little with dads upper so far but what we did work up was for some 70gr sbk and smk. Its looking like his barrel will shoot everything mine will, same charge weight and same coal. He is not used to this platform so he wasnt quite stacking them up like ususal but when i shot a group from it they were all right there. So I had him load up 50rds just to burn at the range or pdogs but he never made it out before this cold snap. Over christmas when im home i think ill have to get him out and get his booger hook introduced to the bang switch.
I was real surprised and how handy and fast of a pointer that 20in tube is! Oh and i forgot to mention, i have not even had a chance to true up either of these recievers. Not sure if it will improve much on mine but ill prob get that done over christmas as well.
Happy shooting!

Nice groups. The 70 grains pills are not something I've played with much on my 6x6.8. I seem to have hit the extremes with 55-58 and 85-90. I may have to try those 70s too. One load that works for everything from PD to coyote would be nice. Although for some reason I keep in the back of my mind working up a load with Nosler 90 grain Accubond and kill a whitetail with mine.
What part of the midwest do you reside?

I have also ran the 87gr horn. bthp but Im thinking I will be sticking with 70-75 and lighter. Not sure what bullet I will run for deer just yet. I have a 6mm rem that has yet to be fired except for the load work-up I did with it so that may be put to use next year for deer.
Im up in ND, and its been DAMN cold lately too!

Im up in ND, and its been DAMN cold lately too! Plenty cold here in NW Wisconsin too! My mom is from Grand Forks. The wind can really stretch its legs out your way! I think I will pick up some 70 gr. for my 6x6.8. SMK for targets and Accubond for deer but the varmint choices are all over the place (SBK, Nosler BT, TNT, Berger, Varmegeddon, or go up or down with the VMAX choices). That's a lot of load testing...

I know what you mean about all the different bullets. There is a pile of them. I have a thing for sierra so the 70SBK and SMK were a top choice right away. The zmax line caught my attention with the price of 500ct boxes so That's what drew me to them in 22cal and after I shot a couple pdogs and rabbits, badgers, skunks etc they proved to be a pretty decent bullet. So when I got the 6x6.8 I had to give the 58s a try. Honestly, I doubt you will have much issue getting any bullet to shoot well from these barrels. Only had one bullet that never shot sub moa in several charge weights the first time out and that was the berger 65gr bt hp match(70smk is not the greatest groups either but I have not finalized that load yet). They never shot horrible but other, that are cheaper and easier to get locally, shot better with less effort so I set the bergers aside for the time being.
