I am living in the World of hypothetical questions today and I wondered; Would BHW be able to build a barrels for a bolt action rifle? I always thought it was a good idea to have a bolty in the same caliber as a black gun. Would this be not economically feasible, too pricy to make?

I am sure they can build you a barrel for your bolt gun the real question is your bolt. a 223 wold need opening a 308 might need to shrink a little. I am sure the problem is not insurmountable just 1 more to deal with. Then we get into separating loads the preasure limit for the large case in an AR may seem restrictive in a bolt gun.

You might want to look at the Forum list. Look for BOLT ACTION BARREL. BHW has been doing them for over a year. Look at my 260 Remington. Ritch is shooting Savage barrels in all our wildcats and I have one 6X68 waiting for some range time. They are doing them for Savage Remington Mossberg and Ruger with a switch barrel nut assembly that they furnish. Greg
