Yes I that is what needs to be done. Personally I am doing position training (4 position rifle) While I have guns down for a re-structuring. I am also pursuing speed with a pistol so no groups to post. but some one out there must be shooting. Lets here about it.

Would love nothing more than to be putting some rounds down range but there is no indoor range around here and with temps below zero just not pleasant to be outside shooting.
I have been busy in the loading room so i have plenty of rounds ready to run when it does get warmer hopefully in a couple of weeks.

Heading to the range for my weekly season on Thursday. Taking my .264 and my 5.56. Been cool here but hey it's Florida and summer/spring will be here in a couple of weeks! Sorry, I had to say that! I feel sorry for y'all in cold weather areas. I put up with that for way to many years. Supposed to be.... Never mind. I don't mean to rub it in!

Just kidding, but it was -10°f on my way home tonight. That is my excuse for not getting any shooting in. Brian

The temps here in Central New Mexico are going to be quite nice, this week. Unfortunately, we're also expecting 30-45mph winds. If it's not one thing, it's always another, it seems.

Made it to the range yesterday and I really feel for you in the cold areas. It was 33 degrees here this morning and that's damn cold for my area of Florida. Had a good session and had excellent groups with my 264LBC, BHW, 20" standard profile barrel that I use for deer/hog hunting. Shot less than 1/2" at 100 and moved to the 200 yard range. 3/4" group there. My avatar is the that 5 shot group. The one a little higher than the others was the first shot. I use a bi-pod up front and my shoulder, off the bench. 3/4" MOA at 200 is good to go! Bullets seated at mag length. Using 123gr Sierra HPBT match. 8208XBR powder. Light wind from the west which puts it at my back blowing down range. Attachments:

Think how well it would shoot if you had been comfortable.

Well i got out today and put a little lead down range, had to plow a path to the range and its parking lot that took over 2 hours but i got to test out my new magnetospeed chrono and my 270AR and 20 practical. it was a balmy 18 deg out.

Out standing effort :
I plan to shoot a little tomorrow. the snow sure seems to bring back memories. My nephew just spent his pre deployment leave in snowy North Dakota. first pictures posted from Afghanistan where in snow. God go with the Screaming Eagles. Paul
