Was able to find a bunch of 6.5 Grendel ammo, HDY 123Amax Match, Have been told that it is fine to run the Grendel ammo in the 264 and vice versa. All was going well until 30 rounds in and got a stuck case. Was grouping very well, as expected. The bolt stuck after the last shot and had to pogo it loose. The extractor would stick slightly but not pull the case. Was able to drive it out easily with a .25" brass rod. Seemed to want to keep sticking. Will have to take it back out and see if it happens again. Anyone else experience a similar problem??

You may need a new extractor spring. It happens.... Shoot some more and try the $1.40 fix if it occurs again. You also might want to go in and gently round the ends of the extractor a bit. Rich can drop through here and give you some tips on that. If I run into the how too pics I'll get them up.

PS: Yes the Grendel ammunition is just the ticket in these.

The bolt I got also has a rubber button with the spring to increase tension. I haven't tested it yet but read somewhere it can help. - cosh

Sounds like I should order a few parts. Been thinking about having a complete spare bolt assy anyway. Will shoot a few more and see what happens. The gun is coming in quite well. Group size is shrinking with the factory ammo and I have 500 123gn Amax on the way. Will be loading up some soon. Thanks for the feedback.
