I'm sure it is at the upper limit of the cartridge capabilities based on powder capacity but I have a fun project to work on with some 150's.... Well actually they are long 125's that the manufacture states to load using 150 data due to their length. That said this may be a job for Accurate 5744 or H335 due to powder capacity encroachment. What say'eth you oh wise and powerful OZ?

What say'eth you oh wise and powerful OZ? 125's are loaded like 125's not 150's. Now if you are saying they are monolithic then you would back off the charge somewhat and the distance from the lands would see a slight increase. Make sure that the ogive is not back in the case. The new tipped 125's are not compatible with the A-30. Try a top end charge for the 7.62X39 on those. Greg

Greg Sinterfire makes them The SinterFire .308 Win. 125 Gr. NTP bullets are designed to feed and function in most rifles with the same recoil, Point of Aim, and Point of Impact as conventional lead bullets. The .308 Win. 125 Gr. NTP recommended velocity is 2,750 fps.

Just check your distance to the lands and go for it. I don't think stabilization will be an issue based on what I've shot of various lengths.
The point of impact statement is pretty iffy. I'm sure you will re-sight but some guys out there will not. I had a guy I worked miss an elk three times at 75 yard. It seems his low ball combo rifle came sighted in from the factory. That's what the salesman said..LOL
