what's the difference between the M4 barrel extension and the new BHW NGE extensions? will barrels fitted with this extension still work on my M4 upper?
also, can somebody tell me if the threaded barrels come with thread protectors?
thanks.

Not everyone, including me, does "Facebook". Please take a moment and explain.
Thanks,

Basically the tops of the bottom feed ramps are widened slightly to allow a bit more clearance for the bigger cases and better feeding on some bullet shapes in the bigger rounds. The bottom of the ramps are unchanged and mate perfectly with an M$ lower.

The bottom of the ramps mate perfectly with an M4 lower. The picture is a bit tilted but the structural strength is still present in the lower lug area. They have been shooting these for a couple months in testing and they are performing exactly as Carl had hoped. This is a prototype picture sent me a few months ago. The finished ones are shown on Facebook. Greg Here is a finished one beside a big bore extension prior to it being finished.

Thank you Greg! I know many folks use, and "love" Facebook, but if you note my profile you might guess why I stay away from it.
FYI, my "old" (Shot Show discount) 300 BLK feeds anything I can fit into it, including cast bullets. The MBC type don't shoot worth a hoot in the BHW barrel because of the bullet's "bore ride" design, but other designs shoot "one hole groups" at 25 yards in the 1000 fps range.
Again, thank you for posting the pictures.
