Is it ok to run a BHW 20" barrel standard profile with mid length gas system? Rifle will be used for hunting and some distant target shooting. Plan to use BTE adjustable gas block. Will be shooting 60 to 75 grn bullets.

Will be shooting 60 to 75 grn bullets. There shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you start with your gas block almost shut off. Open it a 1/4 turn at a time until you get the desired cycling speed. Is there a reason your not wanting to use a rifle length gas system on a 20" barrel?

Don't really mind a rifle length gas system, have heard they can be finicky. Actually rifle length gas seems more appropriate for 20" barrel. Guess I should reconsider.
