The CHEATING way to make it EASY!!!
First RUN A CASE INTO a SMALL BASE 223 SIZER DIE WITHOUT the expandrer/decapper. This will size the neck down and make it so much easier to do the final sizing. It takes a bit longer that way but the results, to me, look a bit more consistent. It also is just easier when you do the final neck down as you are able to feel the neck engage the bushing and you can ease it in.
Once done run it into a 223 Redding Type S bushing die with 225 bushing, or what size you want, chamfer and you are finished.
CURRENT METHOD ON MY BENCH
I set up my 650 with a DILLON 1200 trimmer and 223 die in station #32. I trim to 1.745 as the necks grow. Them in station #5 i have the 223 bushing die with a 225 bushing.
I use Hornady One Shot Spray. After the final size down I chamfer ina nd out and throw them in the tumbler. This gets the lube gone and any small brass chips. I do flash holes and primer pockets whenever I feel like it before I do the initial size/trim.
Be advised the DILLON 1200 is SMALL BASE We recommend a SB die for INITIAL forming as some current bras is very tight in the chamber that we cut to a minimum dimension. After that I just use the Redding Type S with a bushing.

Snagged me a 20 practical, question would a 204 sizer work for just decapping and then sizing with the s die. My 204 is a Hornady custom dies I suppose you could decap with a 204 but i'd just use my regular 20 PRAC Type S sizer die instead as you have to size them anyway and if you are using bushings you just use the little deal to hold the decapping pin that doesn't touch the inside of the necks. If you are decapping with the 204 so you can polish the cases I would grab a Lee Universal die and use that. I've actually alterd mine to go all the way to 17 caliber by filing the shaft down with a file and the shaft chucked up in a drill Greg

Welp the 223 sizer button would be too large , unless I’m missing it I don’t see a 20 cal Redding decap rod . How are you decamping with a 223 expander ball

Welp the 223 sizer button would be too large , unless I’m missing it I don’t see a 20 cal Redding decap rod . How are you decamping with a 223 expander ball I use a either 20 PPC rod with the decapping pin holder in the 223 or you can take the not expander pin holder in the 233 set and file it down so it doesn't contact the case backs. Since Redding furnishes them in each set of dies you're home free. I have gotten sets without the small pin holders and Redding will send you one for free. I NEVER use an expander button in a Redding Type S bushing set. If I were going to do that I might as well use a standard set. Just a thought you could order 20 TACTICAL decapping assembly that will swap into your 223/Practical set up. I load lots of 20's so it's never been a challenge to custom fit something on all these wikdcats. Greg
