Can this be used with the .135 Grendel bolt or does it have to use the .125 7.62x39 bolt. I have a Grendel and 264LBC with the .135 bolts. Having the same size would help not getting bolts mixed up.

The 243 LBC is 125 default. If you want a 136 bolt chamber you need to contact them if you didn't put it in your notes on the order. There is no charge for holding the reamer off 0.010. Greg

I'm new to the 243lbc platform and in the process of building my upper. I have a Rainier Arms upper, Samson Evolution rail, and will get the BHW 20" barrel listed under ready to ship on their website. What bolt does this caliber use? I found another post that listed the sizing die with bushing, bullet seater and shell holder and have those coming with some 95gr SMK, will get the asc 6.5 mags and saw a posting about seating depth and COAL. What bcg do I need? What is the treading pattern on the muzzle? What gas length system?
Thanks y'all.

Thanks, Greg! The "ready to ship" barrel doesn't give option to specify threading for muzzle.

Thanks, Greg! The "ready to ship" barrel doesn't give option to specify threading for muzzle. Look at the description. It will have 1/2 or 5/8 at the end of the specs. The 243LBC I just looked at was 1/2 X 24. Most of the 6mm barrels will be that as a default. If you want a can then you would obviously have it theaded 5/8. Greg

You all have any recommendations for a muzzle brake?

You all have any recommendations for a muzzle brake? I like the Miculeck. Loud but effective. Usually you don't have to oprn them up for 6MM. The Dragon Head is also good if you prefer a linear compensator. Greg

I can only find the Miculek for 5.56/.223. Do you have a link for 243 version? Threading 1/2x28?

Ritch had one that was OK for 6 MM. You could pick one up an just drill the chamber holes. There are some others out there at Brownells that are similar but have ports on the top also. Greg

It is a bit more expensive but wouldn't require any further modification for .243lbc based on those specs, correct?

Yes according to the specs on JoeBobs site it will work. I would also time it. Get rid of the crush washer set up.
