Has anyone used 55gr ballistic tips in a 1 in 8" barrel? Is this to fast of a twist rate for that Bullet?

The speed is not too high in that chambering. We shoot them in the 6X6.8 and it is much faster. The 58's would give you peace of mind if you are real concerned but not necessary. Greg

Thanks Greg. I found a 250 box on sale so I bought them. Then I got a little worried. I have h335. Do you think that will work? Should I use magnum primers with this powder?

I've been shooting Nosler 55gr Varmageddon in my 1-8 barrel. They're accurate and very explosive on whatever they hit.
