I wasn't aware they where making much for AR barrels. Is it a stock item or special order?

So what does this have to do with Black Hole barrels? Please keep related posts to BHW products.

I haven't posted in a while so thought I'd update. Seeing Greg's new build and how it shoots, this is a sweet caliber in an AR. It was a learning process getting it to run right, getting neck tension right for accuracy, and testing different gas blocks and seeing how much difference a good clamp-on block can make compared to a cheap set-screw type. Had a little difficulty with the Matrix handguard and clearance with the gas block so corrected that.
But the challenges seem to be over and what's left is one of the finest shooting ar's I've built, probably THE best with a standard weight barrel.
It likes most anything you can feed it, here's what I've got to work with:
55 gr Nosler Varmegeddon hp, using 31.6 gr of IMR 8208, or 31.7 gr WC846 surplus will get stupid small groups if the wind isn't blowing. That bullet has a bc of .192 so it blows around ALOT. 3450 fps with the 8208 and 3500 with the 846. Every powder I tried would shoot good groups with those but these were the fastest. There is some room left in the 8208 load but groups opened a bit. 1.967" oal was where I ended up for seating depth.
75 gr Hdy hp, worked up to 29.9 gr IMR 8208 for 3250 fps. I haven't worked with these in a while since I got the 55's but they shot great.
85 gr SGK hpbt, I just started working with these and I have a bunch of them. 8208 will get them to 3000 fps safely, 100 yard groups were great. Tonight I tried A2495 as I have a lot of it. It gave amazing groups at 200 yds at 28.5 gr and bullets seated just off the lands. Speed was 2888, but light was fading and I'm hoping the crony was reading low as there is no room to go higher, judging by the brass. That's been my experience with this powder, awesome groups but lacking the speed of some others. I may try 846 with them when or if I get another 1/2 hour of calm weather (been windy here every day!).
I really look forward to trying some 95 smk, they would really make it shine at distance and in the wind. But I've got so many of these others to shoot that I'm waiting for a good clearance deal on them before I splurge.
Now I want to upgrade the scope possibly from the HST Vortex, I really want a Swaro 3.5-18 with the windplex retical and fancy turret. Not real likely though unless I sell a bunch of stuff.
Sorry for the book!
