Let me start off by saying that I have been shooting for over 40 years and I call myself a Newbie cause I have never changed a barrel.. The advice I am going to give might help others and if you Laugh at this you are most certainly welcome to.. I recently changed my barrel out for a Bull Barrel (remember this is my First time) After going to the range my Friend who does all my reloading and helped me out getting things sighted in noticed that some of the cases were a little long and suggested we recheck things, lo and behold good call we had to redo the head spacing and tighten the screws in the stock as when we went to take it out they were loose..
Here's the advice part when your done breaking the barrel in, Go back and check everything again please as you dont know what might have happened or if things loosened up.. The barrel shot well the whole time and know with finding this will shoot even better so far I am OVERJOYED with my barrel From Black Hole.. I now have a reason to go shooting more and my buddy who reloads for me and others has come up with some really good reloads now for this rifle as we are gonna try some 200 grain rounds in it and just a little hot.. next time will put some pics up.. That is when all this RAIN stops...
Also if you get your Barrel threaded, get a Dragons Head Muzzle Break for it, as it helped Stabilize the rifle and I noticed a recoil reduction and a noise reduction over the guys whose brakes were side venting and got a lot of questions and comments on it...
