Just like the title says what action or rifle should I buy to build a long range target and varmint gun out of? Proably be a 6mm variant of some type. If I was to buy a gun what models all share the 110 action? I want to have as many options for good stocks and parts as I can.

The newer 110/111/112/116 series are long action. 10/11/12/16 are short action. The reason I say newer is that older SA cartridges were sometimes on LA with a different bolt head.
Savage has target actions too. Jim at Sharp Shooters Supply has them sometimes.
Check the Savage Shooters Forum for technical details. There are now some builds on Axis and more options for stocks coming out. When I looked, the std 110 LA and 10 SA had many more options.

The old stevens actions are great. They are cheap and the same as the savages. I recently purchased a savage 12 online for a round $250 bucks. Stainless and all. The great thing about savage is you can find and old hunting rifle ans strip it down for the action and be a lot less in the hole as to buying a remington action

I spoke to Savage and they told me that the Stevens 200 is the same as the Savage 10 action.
