Welcome! You'll be even more impressed when you shoot it. The 264LBC doesn't start out "real fast", but it keeps it's velocity "way out there". If you have any questions, there is a lot of knowledge on this forum. Enjoy your rifle by shooting it as much as you can afford!

Thank you wfa. I had it out today chasing rabbits with my nephew just to christen it. We had a blast, pun intended. It was built with the sole intention as a hunting rifle. I did get a chance to stretch its legs out to just beyond 300 yards today and was very, very impressed with well that big bullet keeps flying, even at such a moderate speed. And it is gentle as a lamb to shoot. I have a gut feeling it will be daddy's new favorite girl lol.

I have an over abundance of cotton tail vermin. I limit my shots to 100 yards, or better, just to be "fair". Reliable expansion out to 275 yards (so far) with both 123 A-Max and 120gr Hirtenberger bullets (Grafs used to have them in stock) on the critters. 10 shot groups are <1 MOA with both bullets, A-Max being slightly better, but at 2X the price I paid for the Hirtenbergers.

I would love to have that problem! Cottontail are my favorite. Yummy! I am really curious to see what the 85 and 90gr bullets do on small game too
