Hello from AZ, new member here, slowly building a hope to be precision gas gun, think I am going to run the 243 lbc. Looks and sounds like a great performing cartridge. I have been nosing around here and reading all the comments on the 243, sounds fun to reload for. And sounds like a naturally accurate cartridge. I currently have an A-2 rifle length stock that will shortly be sporting a dpms spr adjustment buttplate like the A10 military rifle. An Anderson lower with a 3.5 saber defense single stage trigger and a Bear Creek Arsenal duel charging side charge and rear charge upper with 7.62x39 Bolt. Old school aluminum knurled 15 inch solid aluminum Handguard. Also the ergo sniper grip I think, great grip too. Anyway I think I'm off to a good start gotta make some money to order the barrel and gas block and glass. The rest😀 alright well I'm sure I will have plenty of questions in the future, maybe you all could help me out. Thanks.
Welcome to the board. An excellent choice in cartridge. I'm in Phoenix so if you need anything let me know. I shoot the 243 LBC in F-class matches at 500 yards in auto and bolt. I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have.
The best firearm for self defense? Any loaded one will do.
