I am new to A30 and was wondering what is the best powder for 150gr Hornady fmjbt I recently acquired new Hornady brass and once fired S&B /SSA /FED I'm going to be shooting out of a 16 in carbine length 8.5 twist any powder suggestion and load data would be much appreciated

We've shot some deent stuff with Leveroution around 33-35. H322 has done fine at around 30.0. Both powers were compressed. There is no reason that RL10 could not be used around 28.0 or so.
A god way to approach the case is to start with 7.62X39 powder charges and move up as the A-30 is slightly bigger and runs at higher pressure.
Make sure you measure your Distance To Lands as various bullet shapes will mess you up big time.

Thanks GLSHOOTER
Correct me if I'm wrong so a Max charge of x 39 will be within a grain of two of the max charge of A30

That's about right depending on what chamber you have. Some more than others.
