I ordered my .223 Wylde barrel with blackend finished and straight fluting in early April. I hear Columbia River Arms got it back from blackening in early July... 3 months to get it to that point?! Now it's been 2 more months waiting for fluting and finishing. So now 5 months and I'm still waiting. Kinda frustrating.
Order your barrel now and maybe you'll have it by spring!

Been there, done that, including many emails with Lisa. I just keep getting told it's in the works. Things are taking time. The latest is the building is undergoing electrical upgrades and that has further delayed things... since mid-July.

Well, lo and behold... I had decided to just cancel my order and look elsewhere so I called Columbia and began the cancellation process on Wednesday. Moments after I got off the phone with Corrina she called back and said she had my barrel in her hands - it had been completed the day before and was ready to ship (how convenient). So it arrived today via FedEx. 5 months from order date almost to the day.
Hopefully the wait was worth it. Even if it shoots like a laser I would still think twice (3 times?) about ordering from Columbia in the future.
